Swine Flu.

The Swine flu has taken over Mexico and has been moving upward into the United States. There is 40 cases in the united states right now, and they are concerned there will be more. Swine flu is a type of virus that spread through pigs. People are catching it that have direct contact with pigs, this flu is contagious and spreads. When the flu spreads from person to person instead of animal to person, it mutates making it extremely hard to fight off. People in Europe are being advised to not travel to the United States or to Mexico. South Korea is passing a test to all passengers before getting on an airplane to one of these countries. All schools in Mexico have been shut down until may 6 to try and get this swine flu under control. More people are dying from it in Mexico then in the United States. The symptoms of the Swine flu is just like a normal flu, vomiting, lack of appetite, diarrhea, coughing and runny nose. This flu can be passed on with just a simple cough or sneeze from one person to another. The world bank has lent $205 million dollars to try and stop this flu. All other countries are watching their people closely especially the people have just come back from Mexico. People just don’t want this to turn into the “Hong Kong” flu that killed nearly one million people in 1968.
