    Opening Day Empty Opening Day

Ah yes, tonight was the night that many people have been waiting to watch for months now. Maybe you’re not a diehard baseball fan but if you are some sort of fan tonight the watch baseball. It was opening night and as many know, tonight was the night to experience great things. This is where diehard fans get to see how their teams look. However tonight was a great night if you are a Arizona Diamondback. Not only did they win, but Felipe Lopez and Tony Clark establish a feat that has not been done before. I don't know if you know what a switch hitter is, but it is when a baseball player can bat from both sides of the plate (left and right handed) which is very difficult but there are few people who can do it. It is hard to hit a home run from both sides of the plate during one game but it has been done by many players but never before on opening day has 2 players from the same team both hit home-runs from each side of the plate. That’s 4 home-runs between 2 players but from opposite sides of the plate. This amazed many people because the 2 players combined for a total of 9 home-runs last year, which is really bad for MLB players. So far the Major League Baseball season is off to a good start but most likely this will not happen again at least anytime soon and will probably never happen again on opening night.
